It’s been a while since Carl Maycock (aka Defab1) released new music but he’s now ended his extended hiatus with new EP Eh?

In collaboration with Regent Street Records his latest EP comprises four funky dance floor-ready house tracks. ‘District 9’ opens with a distinctive retro bass line bringing the 90s vibes to the floor. Rush has a cool laid-back groove that builds into anthemic vocals. As its name suggests, ‘So Sexy’ brings a disco-tinged sexiness combined with funky bass and ‘Chic-esque’ guitar. Lastly, Triple Triple lays down a sophisticated syncopated beat over lush synths and cool vocals.
